Konglehytta in Mjøsli, Norway

In the scenic landscapes overlooking Lake Mjøsa, less than an hour from Oslo, Tormod Tvinnereim oversees his own iglupark with cabins that have become a sensation among his guests.

"The guests, they love it. It's been a great success for us right from the start. We bought the first cabin, manufactured by Iglucraft in Leie, Estonia, six years ago. While looking for guesthouses for the Konglehytta resort we visited a large cabin show in Norway and came across the Iglucraft display. We liked it so much that we bought the cabin in the showroom the same day. We picked it up the next day and transported it to our site. It was love at first sight.

Today, we run five Iglucabins and three Iglusaunas, attracting visitors from all over the world, including China, the US, Africa, and all across Europe. Occupancy rates are thriving. For example, if I purchased a cabin solely for personal holidays, I might use it 40-50 nights a year, however, in our business, our most sought-after Iglu cabin is consistently rented for an impressive 280 nights annually. Remarkably, even after six years of continuous use, the quality remains uncompromised without any issues.“
